Poecilictis libyca minor
GERAADS, 1997
This small mustelid is very similar to the living Libyan polecat,
but smaller. No fossils of this genus were known previous to their
discovery at Ahl al Oughlam.

Upper and lower carnassials in occlusal and lateral views

North-African specimens are larger than those from the Sahara,
and still larger than that from AaO.
